Civil Liberties Under Assault
Gun owners group condemns 'treacherous' passage of anti-Second Amendment legislation (Infowars) - Words cannot express what a slap in the face this is to our veterans. No thanks to the National Rifle Association, by the way. Many veterans, perhaps most, will be unable to obtain firearms in the future thanks to the passage of this hideous legislation that the president has said he will sign. Anyone deemed mentally ill by a psychologist will now be legally barred from owning any sort of weapon. That will include our veterans, and nearly everyone else to boot. This is a huge step toward outlawing guns and doing away with the Second Amendment altogether! If you don't want to be regulated to the status of a second-class citizen, it's best not to seek any mental health treatment at all. Sadly, in the near future, we probably won't have a choice in that regard.
